For ease installation, ABS Hi-Super is designed for installation
at the master cylinder.
However if space does not permit, ABS Hi-Super can be installed
under the vehicle wherever
fittings permit. If your vehicle has three or four brake lines,
it is enough for good performance that install on the front-side
two lines. |
| STEP 1 : |
Examine ABS Hi-Super units. |
| STEP 2 : |
Disconnect hydraulic brakes line coming from master
cylinder. |
STEP 3 :
|
Connect both ABS Hi-Super units to master cylinder.
And connect brakelines to both units by only "finger-tighten". |
STEP 4 :
|
Using correct size wrench, tighten the fitting
between master cylinder
and ABS Hi-Super units with no miss alignment. |
STEP 5 :
|
Adding brake fluid, then bleed hydraulic brake
system. While brake pedal is depressed,
tighten brake line fitting to units. Repeat for
the other units.
Make sure any air-bubble is bled from system. |
STEP 6 :
|
After bleeding system, completely dry both units
and all fittings.
Has another person pumped brakes while checking
for leaks with clean anddry cloth. |
STEP 7 :
|
Check brake fluid level and add fluid if required.
Make sure brake pedal
cannot be depressed father than normal. If brake
pedal can be depressed
the system was not installed properly and you must
return to STEP 1. |
STEP 8 :
|
ABS Hi-Super is now fully operational. Test the
system including several
panic stops from at least 60km/h. on the road. After
the testing, check all
fittings again for leaks, brake pedal depression
and fluid level. |
|
|
| NOTE : If instrument
panel brake light was on during installation, it
should go out STEP 5. |
CAUTION :
|
Entire installation and inspection must be performed
in good workmanship manner.
All components of brake system including brake pads,
wheel and master cylinders,
tire treads must be inspected or wear and condition
as per all safety inspections.
Brake fluid must be changed as per
vehicle manufactures recommendations or K.S.M.T.
